WOODEN ROOF

In the last few years wooden roofs are more popular just like the old times. In recent years not only newly established buildings but also old buildings with concrete roof. People were fed up with the concrete roof and the numerous problems created for decades now so they decided to change from wood and tile roofs. The advantages are numerous but also lookwise a tiled roof is more appealing to the eye compared to the concrete roof.

There are four basic shapes of roofs:
1. single side roof
2. two sided roof
3. three sided roof
4. four sided roof

For the Mediterranean type of climate 25% inclination is considered to be an ideal angle for roofs.

When it comes to kiosk or roof covers for verandas 18% is an ideal angle as long as we use waterproof materials underneath.
